Mage Wars Battlegrounds is a new series of expansions for the award winning Mage Wars Arena game system. Battlegrounds uses modular tiles that allow you to create your own customised battle arena! Tiles have special abilities and terrain effects that add exciting new tactics and strategy to the game. Challenge yourself and your friends with hundreds of possible arena designs with variable sizes, shapes, and obstacles, including larger 4 player maps. Each Battlegrounds set offers new ways to play Mage Wars, with new strategies and new objectives to accomplish. Step into the Arena, YOUR Arema, and prepare for battle!
Domination is the first Battlegrounds set. In this new and exciting scenario, players seek to dominate territory and seize control of the V'Tar Orbs scattered across the arena. Control the most Orbs to operate the V'Torrak, an ancient artifact of immense power! But be careful, Orbs are guarded by malevolent creatures - the Sslak and Usslak! Includes 26 new spells to overcome the hazards in the arena and defeat your opponent! Move out, seize control, and Dominate!
Build the Arena of your dreams and battle against enemies for control of the V’Tar orbs with an all new rule set for the award winning Mage Wars Arena®!  Battlegrounds Domination is an entirely new set of expansions for Mage Wars Arena® that introduce both new rules to play by and also incorporates the use of custom puzzle-cut tiles for players to build their own Arena boards to play on!The first Battlegrounds expansion, Domination, introduces Domination Mode, where players will vie for control of powerful V’Tar orbs that grant new powers and offer a new option to win, by gaining points through maintaining control of these powerful devices. Additionally, there are 20 customized tiles for players to use in creating their own, or suggested, Arenas to play in. Finally, there are also 116 cards including new spells for use in traditional Mage Wars Arena® play and the new Domination mode, introduced in this expansions’ rules.
While Battlegrounds Domination will inspire you creative thinking and allow you to design the Arena of your dreams, we are also excited to have several suggested map designs, and layout designs, for playing in this new and exciting mode: Domination!  Can you control the V’Tar Orbs, use their power, and gain victory over you opponents?  With maps capable of playing 2, 3 or 4 players, Battlegrounds Domination will keep you coming back for more!
